Throughout her career Donna has worked for a wide variety of international and domestic broadcasters and/or publications. She has extensive experience not only as a director, producer, writer, reporter, photojournalist, and researcher, but as a professional audio engineer and camera operator.

Donna is a member of BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts, London Branch), ATAS (Academy of Television Arts and Sciences), NATAS (National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences), NABET (The National Association of Broadcast Employees and Technicians), SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists), NYPC (The NY Press Club) and NYWIFT (New York Women in Film & Television). Additionally, she has worked as a professional model for both print and network television.

Donna is currently at work on a book that examines China’s One Child Policy. It is a first person narrative chronicling her family’s search for their adopted Chinese daughter’s biological family.

Donna and her husband Mark have three children, Willem, Pietro, and Soleil. Their family spends time between their 1876 farmhouse in Westport, Connecticut, and their 16th century restored flour mill, with guest house, vineyard, and working moat, in Penna San Giovanni, Marche, Italy.
